A new type space DC power supply using resonant converter is studied in this paper which can achieve high efficiency and safety. The DC power supply is to form a secondary regulated main bus (RMB) from the unregulated main bus (UMB) in space power system. The DC power supply converter is LLC topology which is controlled by PSM (phase-shift modulator). The LLC power topology is controlled by a phase-shift modulator (PSM). The DC power supply can work in burst mode at low load mode. At Low input voltage & maximum output current, phase shift is around 160deg or around duty cycle 0.9. Phase shift roughly proportional to input voltage when in continuous mode. Also, The DC power supply module is a switching power converter working in a modular way which can meet the needed level of flexibility and scalability. The target efficiency can reach 96%.
