Hilal A. Fadhil, was born in Paris, France, in 1981. He received the Ph.D. degree from the University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), MALAYSIA, in 2010. Since 2010, he has been a senior lecturer with UniMAP, where he initiated activities on high-speed transmission over optical fibers and optical wireless communications for different applications. His current research interests also include efficient network architectures and advanced modulation schemes for the next generation optical networks.
