The wide-swath greenhouse gas monitor is a hyperspectral resolution push-broom imaging spectrometer, which is used to detect global distribution of concentration of CO2 and CH4 in atmospheric greenhouse gases . Instrument Line Shape (ILS) is one of key parameters. Both radiometric calibration and spectral calibration need to convolve the reference spectrum with ILS. Therefore, the calibration accuracy of ILS directly affects radiometric accuracy and spectral accuracy. In order to accurately calibrate ILS, a test device with a tunable laser and integrating sphere was built; nine areas of the focal plane array detector were selected for the ILS calibration test, and the test results were Gaussian fitted. The results show that: taking the 1.61μm channel as an example, the accuracy of ILS is better than 1%; the spectral resolution, which is the full width at half maxima of ILS, is 0.07nm, which meets the need of retrieve applications.
Particulate Observing Scanning Polarimeter (POSP) is a spaceborne spectropolarimetric sensor to map radiometric and polarimetric information of global atmospheric particulate matter. POSP has three SWIR bands, respectively are 1.38μm, 1.61μm and 2.25μm. So the SWIR polarimetric system is designed, which has the characteristic of division of aperture and division of amplitude to realize the simultaneous polarization measurement. The system has two identical optical paths, their orientation is 45 degree, and it can measure first three Stokes parameters. In order to realize to cool the InGaAs detectors below -60°C, combined with active cooler and passive cooler, the InGaAs detectors assembly and cooling system are integrated compact. The thermal vacuum test shows that cooling system could meet the cooling requirements of InGaAs detectors.
