The noise of tow ship seriously influences the detection of towed line array. Null steering beamforming(NSBF), inverse beamforming(IBF) and non-data based beam-space transformation(NDBBT) are applied to suppress interference of tow ship in this paper. These methods are evaluated according to the improvement of signal-noise ratio(SNR). Simulation and trial results show that all three methods can suppress interference of tow ship effectively to a certain degree, and NDBBT performs better in suppressing interference than NSBF and IBF.
