I am a research scientist/product developer working at a "Deep light vision" start-up company in Lund, Sweden. The company is in collaboration with the Atomic Physics division at Lund University. I am working on developing a product that implements medical imaging technique called "ultrasound optical tomography" (UOT) using spectral-hole burning filters in rare-earth-ion-doped crystals as a non-invasive method for a lesion detection in a human tissue. In December 2021 I received a Ph.D. degree at Lund University, Combustion Physics division. My thesis covers the development of 4 unique research concepts based on exploiting ultrashort laser pulses: femtosecond (fs) backward lasing, hybrid fs/nanosecond (ns) Coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS), fs-Laser-induced Grating Spectroscopy (LIGS) and Two-photon Laser-induced Fluorescence (LIF) measurement techniques. In 2015 I received a Master degree in laser and optical engineering at Bauman Moscow Sate Technical University.
