This paper proposes a fault diagnosis and tolerant control method based on second-order speed prediction for motor Hall sensor faults in the antenna servo system. Firstly, the Hall signal sequence of the permanent magnet brushless motor in the antenna servo system was analyzed, and the Hall state signal was used as the fault diagnosis signal. Meanwhile, a second-order speed prediction method was designed based on the discrete speed of the motor. Then the predicted Hall signal was generated in real-time by using the predicted speed and Hall state signal, and the controller with fault diagnosis and tolerant control was established. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method was verified through experiments.
