Profile Summary

Dr. Jianhui Bin, received his bachelor and master degree from Tianjin University and from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS in 2006 and in 2009, respectively. He received his doctor degree from LMU München / MPQ in 2015 and continually worked as a postdoc till 2017. He worked Lawrence Berkeley National Lab as a Feodor Lynen research fellow until 2019, with funding from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Afterwards, he joined Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics. Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOM, CAS) and became a full professor in 2020. His work was focused on basic science topics in laser-plasma interactions, particularly on laser driven ion acceleration and its applications.
