COMPUTER-AIDED IMAGE ANALYSIS
PRINCIPLE INVESTIGATOR: CBP Research Project/Method Development: Design of custom three-dimensional computer-aided image analysis system [laser scanner interfaced with coordinate measurement machine (CMM)] to address quantitative issues pertaining to trade enforcement and (or) analysis for classification of commodities of concern. Research and practical laboratory experience with a variety of two-dimensional computer-aided image analysis systems (CCD cameras) for both qualitative and quantitative applications.
