Laser acoustic is a new way to generate underwater sound sources. Photoacoustic signals have the advantages of high sound intensity, narrow pulse, wide spectrum and long-range excitation. In this paper, the related characteristics of vaporization mechanism of laser induced acoustic are studied. The characteristics of vaporized acoustic signal and photoacoustic conversion efficiency are theoretically analyzed. The principle experiment of laser induced acoustic is designed. The waveform and spectrum of acoustic signal are analyzed. The result of research can provide a reference for the optimization of laser acoustic conversion efficiency.
Sound signal excited by the interaction of laser and water has high range resolution and Marine anti-interference ability, it has broad application prospects in the area of underwater target detection. This paper deals with the problem of underwater target detection, the mechanism of laser-induced vaporization is studied, the experiment of laser vaporization is designed in this paper. The research results can provide reference for underwater target detection.
How to solve the communication problem to the underwater target has turned into one of the subjects that the militarists of all over the world commonly concern. Laser-induced acoustic signal is a new approach for underwater acoustic source, which has much virtue such as high intensity, short pulse and broad frequency. The paper studies the opto-acoustic communication method. The acoustic signal characteristic of laser-induced breakdown is studied and corresponding theory model is systemically analyzed. The opto-acoustic communication experimental measure investigation is formed with the high power laser, water tank and high frequency hydrophone. The characteristic of acoustic signal is analyzed, such as intensity and frequency. This makes a stride for pursing the feasibility of laser-acoustic underwater communication.
