The uneven settlement deformation often occurs on the roadbed, resulting in accidents. The geo-synthetics has been shown as an effective reinforcement to control deformation with convenient construction and good quality. However, the effect and mechanism of the geo-synthetics on the uneven settlement have not been clarified enough to establish a reasonable reinforcement method and intelligent evaluation system of the reinforced roadbed. Centrifugal tests were carried out of the roadbed reinforced by the geo-synthetics under cyclic loads. The observations are used to analyze the deformation behavior of the reinforced roadbed with various geo-synthetics locations. The results show that the deformation only occurs in a certain zone. The geo-synthetics effectively deceases the uneven settlement inside the roadbed due to the friction between the soil and geo-synthetics. The reinforcement effect is enhanced if the geo-synthetics is placed closer to the roadbed surface.
