Temporality is the distinct attribute of cadastral information. It is very important to scientifically and efficiently manage three kinds of data that exist in the Cadastral Information System, such as spatial data, temporal data and attributive data.Based on the research of TGIS and the advantages of existing spatio-temporal database model. This paper proposes a design of a spatio-temporal cadastral database which is divided into historical database and alterative database. This design fulfills the requirements for management of cadastral data and reduces data redundance and enhances the efficiency of database.
Based on DOM, we use remote sensing (RS) and GIS technology to conduct a macro-description and micro-quantitative
analysis research on the dynamic change of Guangzhou City's land-use. We first of all extract the information of
Guangzhou City's land-use change, study on a general scale the situations of land-use change in all districts of
Guangzhou City, and build a model related to the dynamic change of land-use. Then we analyze the mutual conversions
between each land-use type and try to find out the reasons for the conversions. The results show that: The absolute
volume of Guangzhou City's land-use type change is huge, in which conversions within the first land-use type
predominate; the farmland decrease relatively fast and adjustable land-use type increase substantially. This paper offers
some reference to the rapidly-developing urban land-use.
The goal of image fusion is to combine a high quality image from multi-images of the same object. The paper presents an image fusion scheme based on wavelet transform. Firstly, the large-scale land-use image is decomposed by orthogonal wavelet; secondly, the approximate low-frequency information just decomposed with the small-scale land-use image is replaced; finally the fused image is obtained by taking inverse wavelet transform. The fused land-use image obtains the merits of the images which have different scales. This scheme realizes that the information of spatial objects increases or decreases automatically with the differences of the scales.
An accessibility computing method and process based on grid partition was put forward in the paper. As two important factors impacting on traffic, density of road network and relative spatial resistance for difference land use was integrated into computing traffic cost in each grid. A* algorithms was inducted to searching optimum traffic cost of grids path, a detailed searching process and definition of heuristic evaluation function was described in the paper. Therefore, the method can be implemented more simply and its data source is obtained more easily. Moreover, by changing heuristic searching information, more reasonable computing result can be obtained. For confirming our research, a software package was developed with C# language under ArcEngine9 environment. Applying the computing method, a case study on accessibility of business districts in Guangzhou city was carried out.

Based on Landsat TM remote sensing images in 1990 and 2000, we analyses the temporal and spatial pattern Characters of land use in the 1990s in Guangzhou city. We also simulate the scenarios of land-use pattern in 2010 by integrating the Markov process into cellular automata model. The results show that the area of constructions was rapid increasing during the last ten years of the 20th century, at the same time the arable land, woodland and unused land areas were decreasing, the orchard and water areas were rarely changed; In the first ten years of 21st century, land use pattern keep the change trend in the 1990s, land of constructions continue rapid increasing; arable land and unused land areas continue rapid decreasing; woodland, orchard and water areas keep steadily. Research shows that the extent of urban area has increased exponentially in Guangzhou city, no evidences show that the arable land decreasing rate will slow down in the near future. So, it is necessary to enhance the control functions of land use planning and take actives measures to protect arable land.
The deviation analysis of space-time structure is based on GIS overlay. At present, the method in common use to describe deviation of expansion in spatial structure makes use of comparative analysis to study difference of various classification of land-use in spatial position. Although this method can draw the outline of spatial structure characteristic of land-use with object and brief advantages, its changed speed is not comparative in the strict sense because divided spatial units are not equal land areas. Thus the method above is improved in the paper by creatively importing the changing intensity index by average of year that the comparative new index can describe deviation of land-use spatial-temporal structure. Changing intensity index means that land-use changed area of a certain spatial unit is percentage of overall land area in different a certain period of research. In order to compare intensity or trend of urban land-use change in different period of research, changing intensity index in each spatial unit by average of year that has been calculated is a standard processing course is for its changing speed by average of year in land area of each spatial unit. The changing intensity index is comparative. Thus we can make a thorough research for land-use classification and obtain deviation situations of spatial-temporal structure for different land classification. The result will benefit the planning management of urban land-use of developed districts in China in the future.
