I am a Postdoctoral Associate at The University of Western Ontario. I studied engineering physics, photonics and obtained PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Biomedical Engineering Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. I am passionate about developing medical optics devices and methodologies for monitoring blood flow and hemodynamic parameters in biological tissue and clinical applications. My PhD program was a multidisciplinary study that required both knowledges of theoretical concepts, and skills in developing hardware, algorithms, and data analysis tools. My research is focused on the development of noninvasive optical technologies used for monitoring blood flow and oxygen metabolism of human brain.
